Do you know how to stop a malfunctioned accelerating car??  Lots of buzz in the media about vehicles randomly accelerating, causing serious accidents.

Much of the controversy is whether the cause is driver error or manufacturing defect.

Whatever the cause, the attached video (2 min. 30 sec.) prepares you on how to respond.

    He didn’t mention finding the nearest tree. It is good to watch these things now before it happens in real life.

    A great article & very timely….I understand Toyota vehicles have black boxes in them that can determin whether driver error is involved in certain incidents.

    just goes to show that knowing the safety feature of your vehicles can avoid serious accidents. All drivers should read their owner manual for the vehicle.
