Workplace Health and Safety??? This elegantly produced video essentially shows the decommissioning of ocean liners into scrap at a facility in Pakistan. These men are technically savvy and know their trade – but it is obvious from a North American viewpoint that they have very different standards of worker safety. Note the frequent lack of eye protection, helmets, harnesses – some of these men are working in their bare feet!
