I’ve often had the experience of shaking my head while reading claims reports.  “What were these people thinking?”  The truth is they probably weren’t thinking much at all!  But we’ve all survived situations where after the fact, we realized we had done something that wasn’t very smart – or very safe.

Risk management is all about recognizing risk, and taking common sense steps to manage, reduce or eliminate it.
