Randy Bushey was appointed General Manager of Knox Insurance Brokers in 1988 and has over 30 years experience in the general insurance industry. Throughout Randy’s tenure at Knox, the company has grown to over 40 employees; in addition to value-added personal lines, the brokerage also specializes in municipal and First Nations accounts, trucking, mining, and entertainment, together with other commercial lines. Although Knox Insurance Brokers is based in North Bay, Ontario the firm now provides advice and advocacy to clients from around the province and in other regions of Canada.
Randy is a Chartered Insurance Professional through the Insurance Institute of Canada, and has served as President of the local Chapter of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario. He is currently Deputy President on the governing council of the Insurance Institute of Ontario, the industry’s primary technical, management, and risk management education entity.
In addition, he has served on the following insurance company/broker councils:

- ·Halifax Insurance (now INTACT) Regional Broker Council – Ontario
- ·Zurich Insurance Company — National Broker Council
- ·York Insurance Company – Ontario Council

Randy has been licensed with the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario since 1981; he is currently recognized as the Principal Broker of Knox Insurance Brokers Ltd. and MIS Municipal Insurance Services Ltd.
